Western futurologists predict that in the near future the Earth will be populated by scattered, selfish loners who communicate mainly through gadgets and social networks. But not everyone is so gloomy about the future of humanity. There are influential forces on our planet who believe that Earthlings can still solve the most difficult problems together and discuss all issues openly, honestly and directly.
Soon, on the 19th of April, the World Forum “New Era – New Ways” will be held, the purpose of which is to unite representatives of international organisations, authorities, business, experts, public organisations, scientific circles, representatives of traditional religions, cultural figures and artists from different countries in order to build a common future for the sake of prosperity and strengthening of peace and security. The Forum will also address the issues of promoting spiritual and moral development, raising the level of well-being, creating a favourable and safe environment for citizens.
According to the representatives of the organiser, the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation, the objectives of the Forum will be implemented through mutual recognition of the principles of state sovereignty of the participants, building a common future on the basis of traditional values, respect for the national-historical, religious and cultural characteristics of the participating states and their populations.
And these are not just loud words, but a well-prepared basis for building our common future, because planet Earth at the beginning of the 21st century is undergoing radical changes in both geopolitics and macroeconomics. The contradictions that have accumulated over the years have had a negative impact on the system of international law and international security, and have significantly increased the risk of a global crisis.
