According to research, most reading time should be at this level for kids to grow as readers. A kid’s prior knowledge about a topic, interest in it, and other factors impact the kid’s ability to read and understand a particular book.
Establishing a reading corner in the house can benefit kids. It doesn’t need to be elaborate. It can be a simple, private area where the kids can confidently read independently or with parents. It’s also great for the area to be well-lit and filled with books the kids enjoy reading.

Phonemes are language specific, and phonemes in one language may contrast those of another, but in each language, there is a permissible sequence of phenomes for every valid word. While phenomes are distinctive sounds, we cannot rely on sound alone to determine the phenome, as some sound similar. However, because of the placement of our tongues and the interaction of our tongues, lips, roof of the mouth and teeth, it is possible to tell the difference between some phenomes, but it takes practice. It is this distinctive difference in phenomes that showcase the difference in words, and with this difference comes a change in meaning.
