What to do once you get your owl grades
There are many advantages to being a WVU student. You get a chance to experience college life on a large scale. You get to make friends and meet people from all over the world. You get to study abroad and intern for brands you like. You get to meet people you’ll likely spend the rest of your life talking to. You get a chance to learn about your college and the world at large from a unique and inspiring perspective. And last but not least, you get to experience the owl!
Most importantly, you get to prove to yourself how smart you really are. You’re only as smart as the people around you, and what they’re helping you with is just as important. What’s New at WVU?
Here are some things to keep in mind as you progress through your WVU education:
- You will never be a “smart” student. You will always be an “empathetic” one.
- You will never be a “calculator” because there will never be a day when you don’t know how many stairs to the gym and how many times to the washroom.
- You will never be a “geek” because there will never be a day when you don’t know how to use the internet. There will not be a day when you don’t use the email, the website, and the social media. All of this will still be happening behind the scenes, but you will never be a part of it.
- You will never be a “geeks” or a “geeks only” because there will never be a day when there isn’t an internet or a phone.
- You will never be interested in mathematics because there will never be a day when you don’t know how to analyze or do any of the math concepts.
